Whitehouse will be home to a range of employment uses including B1, B2 and B8 uses and 4,400 families, who will benefit from a secondary school, 3 primary schools, community uses, health facility, indoor sports & other leisure facilities, burial ground and Open Space & Play Areas.
Three ponds have now been created as part of the sustainable Urban Drainage system with two more to be constructed as the development continues. Whitehouse Primary School and Watling Academy have both completed construction with the primary school now open and the academy anticipated to open for the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year. Furthermore, construction of Calverton Primary School is expected to begin in 2021 and first enrolment to take place for the 2023/2024 academic year. The health centre is now open and operational, helping to serve the needs of the local community.
